Full-bodied premium red wine
Noble like Prince Nandor Montenuovo who owned parts of the Vylyan vineyards at the beginning of the 20th century. It’s a well balanced blend of cabernet franc, merlot, syrah and zweigelt, a golden mean between the full-bodied and the lively-fruity styles. It’s warm scent and luscious aroma is filled with bright rich fruitiness complemented with hints of spices like roasted notes, cocoa and punch.
Food pairing: Due to its complexity it goes well with a wine range of food like barbecue, lamb, duck or pork dishes.
Medium-bodied red wine
The winery’s most popular wine. Made from 7 different grape varieties from the most beautiful vineyards in the Villány wine region, a cuvee of Merlot, Pinot Noir, Portugieser, Kékfrankos and Syrah built upon a base of Cabernet. It is matured in large oak barrels (70%) and used barrique barrels (30%) for 12 months.
A wine characterized by its medium dark intensity and colour verging on the garnet-red paired with lightly spiced, red-fleshed fruits. The bitterness of the sour cherry with a light chocolate aftertaste can be sensed in its flavour.
